Currently the four Patasalas run by KGVVT have 10 Adhyapakas and 125 Vidharthis. All the Vidyarthis and most of the Adhyapakas are provided with free accommodation, food, clothing and basic consumables required.
The Adhyapakas are paid monthly salary. Medical Expenses for Adhyapakas and family are being reimbursed and children education fees are also reimbursed. Apart from this groceries are provided to the families of Adyhapakas who stay away from the patasala.
The trust spends on an average an amount of Rs 6,00,000 (Rupees six lakhs) per month towards maintenance and running of four patasalas.
The trust with the blessings of Sri Sri Sankaracharyas of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam are also on the constant lookout to increase the Vidayarthis on continuous basis.
In order to pursue this noble cause of preserving the eternal Vedas, substantial funding is required. It is also prudent to create a required corpus so that in future the day to running expenses are met from the income generated from the corpus..
‘Vedi Nithyam Adhiyatam’ – Let Vedas be learnt and chanted every day – a dictum of Adhi Sankaracharya.
Even if we are unable to practice it the least we should serve the cause of Vedic Study to the best of our ability. When the organization comes forward to run the patasala with qualified Gurus and disciplines sishyas it is the bounden duty of all of us to support that cause wholeheartedly by all means including financial support. This has been the clarion call of His Holiness Sri Paramacharyal of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti peetam.
His Holiness Sri Sri Mahaswamigal had suggested during His personal interaction with the trustees of KGVVT that if contribution in kind is solicited for such noble causes it would be easy to sustain this scheme on a continuous and long term basis without being affected by spiraling inflation.
KGVVT appeal to everyone who believes in preservation and promotion of our ancient eternal study of Vedas to contribute liberally towards this noble cause.
” It is manifest that chanting of the Vedas protect the world, rather universe irrespective of caste or creed.”
KGVVT is being administered by a group of well placed professionals from different walks of life on a honorary basis. Due to this any contribution received from donors are being spent for the direct expenses of running these patasals..
